Gardaí arrest two in connection with Galway stabbing
Two people have been arrested after a stabbing incident in Galway city.
It happened at around 9pm last night at Mallin Avenue in the Mervue area.
The man in his late 30s was taken to University College Hospital Galway and his condition is not yet known.
The man and woman arrested at the scene are aged in their early 40s.
They are being held in Galway garda station under section Four of the Criminal Justice Act.
