Gardaí in Dublin are questioning three men in their forties in connection with dissident republican activity.

Gardaí in Dublin are questioning three men in their forties in connection with dissident republican activity.

The men - who are aged 42, 44 and 47 - were detained at the North Circular Road yesterday as part of an ongoing operation.

A large sum of counterfeit money was recovered along with a range of printing equipment and computers when four houses in the north Dublin area were searched along with a commercial premises in County Meath.

The men are being questioned at the Bridewell and Mountjoy Garda Stations.
