Gardaí have seized €1m worth of cannabis in a raid at an industrial premises in Dublin.

Gardaí have seized €1m worth of cannabis in a raid at an industrial premises in Dublin.

The Garda National Drugs Unit searched a premises in the North West Business Centre yesterday evening and found more than 100kgs of cannabis resin and herb with an approximate street value of €1m.

A 39-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is being detained at Blanchardstown Garda station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.

The scene is under technical examination.
