Gardaí arrest Lithuanian man wanted in his home country

Gardaí say they have arrested a Lithuanian man who is wanted for murder in his home country.

It comes as part of an operation targeting organised crime and criminals from other countries.

He was one of 12 people arrested today as part of Operation Trivium - a Europe-wide police initiative.

The man was arrested in the Liffey Valley area of Dublin this evening under a European arrest warrant.

He is due in the High Court tomorrow.
