Gardaí in Donegal are appealing for witnesses to a crash yesterday which claimed the life of an 82-year-old woman.

Gardaí in Donegal are appealing for witnesses to a crash yesterday which claimed the life of an 82-year-old woman.

It happened at The Ross in Bundoran at about 3.50pm yesterday afternoon when a car collided with a fence.

She was taken from the scene by ambulance to Sligo Hospital but was pronounced dead en route.

Gardaí are calling for anyone in the area at the time to come forward.
