Gardaí are investigating an armed robbery in Dublin yesterday.

It happened at a pharmacy on Griffeen Road in Lucan shortly after midday.

A man entered the premises armed with what is believed to be a firearm, and threatened staff before escaping with a sum of money.

No arrests have been made.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
