Gardaí are in Co Longford are appealing for witnesses after a woman died of injuries sustained in a crash last month.

Gardaí are in Co Longford are appealing for witnesses after a woman died of injuries sustained in a crash last month.

The two-car collision happened at Minard at around a quarter to five on Monday the 12th of September.

The 31 year old woman who was driving of one of the cars, received serious injuries when her car collided with a truck.

The woman last night died as a result of injuries sustained in the collision.

Two children who were in the car suffered minor injuries. The truck driver was not injured.
