Gardaí are asking for information following an aggravated burglary in Dublin.

Two children - along with their grandparents - were threatened by a gang of four men in their home on Ballinclea Road in Killiney at around 8pm on Wednesday.

The thieves, who were armed with crowbars and hammers, made off with a substantial amount of cash and some jewellery.

No arrests have been made and anyone with information in relation to this robbery is asked to contact Shankill Garda Station on 01-666-5900.
