Gardaí advise crime-hit priests in Meath
Priests in the Meath diocese have been given Garda advice on their safety and security.
A Crime Prevention officer addressed the annual assembly of clergy from the area on Monday.
It follows a number of incidents in which thieves have targetted churches, sacristies and parochial houses, while a number of priests have also reportedly been assaulted.
