Gardaí advertise for human rights intern

The Garda Síochána are looking to recruit a human rights assistant on an internship.

The Gardaí have advertised for the JobBridge position which will help to develop policy on human rights and policing within the force.

The intern will be expected to work 40 hours a week, for an allowance of €50 per week on top of their current Social Welfare payment, under a mentor for nine months.

They will be taught how to "analyse data, prepare reports, deliver presentations" and must have "the ability to observe confidentiality".

There is no experience is required for the position which is based in Dublin.
