A member of an Garda Síochána has been injured after a Garda van collided with a Dublin Bus in Clontarf this morning.

A member of an Garda Síochána has been injured after a Garda van collided with a Dublin Bus in Clontarf this morning.

The incident happened at around 2.30am when the garda van, which contained two male Gardaí, collided with the bus, which was parked and empty at the time.

Both gardaí were taken to hospital, but their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

It is believed that they were responding to a call when the incident occurred.
