Garda group considers pulling out of Croke Park negotiations

The Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors will meet today to consider pulling out of talks on an extension to the Croke Park Agreement.
The AGSI General Secretary John Redmond has said there is nothing in any of the proposals on savings that they could bring back to their members.
Its National Executive will meet this morning to discuss the issue.
The Government is seeking an agreement which would see an additional €1bn in savings throughout the public sector.
