Further heavy makes roads impassable

Further heavy rain tonight has caused more flooding in many parts of the country.

The south has been worst effected - with a number of roads impassable in Cork, Wicklow, Wexford and Waterford.

In Cork the Balick Road in Middleton is flooded, while in Wexford, O’Hanrahan Bridge in New Ross is closed in both directions due to flooding.

In Wicklow, the Kilcroney roundabout in Bray is flooded - and in Waterford the R680 road at Darrigal is impassable.
