Four men are being questioned by gardaí following the seizure of €150,000 worth of heroin in Cork yesterday afternoon.

Officers targeting the large scale supply and distribution of the drug in the city also recovered a sawn-off shotgun and ammunition during the operation.

Three people were initially detained in the Lower Killeens area, while a fourth man was detained last night.

The four are in their 20s or 30s and are being held at the Bridewell and Gurranabraher stations.
