Four men have been arrested in Co. Cork following the discovery of a cannabis growhouse with up to €100,000 worth of drugs in Macroom.

Four men have been arrested in Co. Cork following the discovery of a cannabis growhouse with up to €100,000 worth of drugs in Macroom.

Gardaí found the highly elaborate cannabis growhouse when they searched a rented property in Rusheen at around 10pm last night.

Detectives arrested four Polish men, aged from their late teens to early 30s, on the premises and brought them to Bandon garda station for questioning about the drugs haul.

It is the third major cannabis growhouse operation found by gardaí in Mid-Cork this year.
