Gardaí in Clare have ruled out foul play in the death of man found outside a local community centre this morning.

Gardaí in Clare have ruled out foul play in the death of man found outside a local community centre this morning.

A post mortem has confirmed that Tony McElroy died of natural causes after a night out socialising in a pub in the village of Ballynacally.

The 61-year-old single man was from Kilmaley.

Gardaí in Kilrush are still conducting enquiries into the movements leading up to his death in the early hours of this morning, and have asked anyone who was in the area to contact them.
