Food vouchers for 1,500 Dublin families after O'Carroll donates to SVP

Over one and a half thousand families in Dublin will be given a voucher for a turkey and a ham thanks to a donation by comedian Brendan O'Carroll.

The creator of Mrs Brown's Boys made a substantial donation to the Society of the St Vincent de Paul for the dinner vouchers.

Thanking Mr. O'Carroll, the society said that this year more than ever they are receiving more requests for food.
