Five people are being questioned after gardaí seized heroin with an estimated street value of €80,000 in Dublin yesterday afternoon.

Five people are being questioned after gardaí seized heroin with an estimated street value of €80,000 in Dublin yesterday afternoon.

The discovery, was made following a planned search of two premises in Dublin City Centre, as part of an intelligence-led operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs.

An amount of cash was also recovered.

Four men in their 20s and one in his 60s were arrested during the operation.

They are being held at various Garda Stations across Dublin City this morning.
