Five arrested following Ennis disturbance
Gardaí in Ennis arrested five men after an incident in the town yesterday evening which left three cars damaged, including a garda patrol vehicle.
The men, aged from their late teens to 40s, were arrested on road traffic offenses, public order offenses as well as possession of offensive weapons.
Two people were taken to hospital for injuries from the incident, which happened at the Maid of Erin Roundabout at around 6pm.
