Five fire brigades are dealing with a fire at a building in Bray, Co Wicklow.

Motorists have been advised to avoid Bray as Castle Street has been closed to traffic.

Meanwhile Dart services are operating to Bray only due to Gorse fires adjacent to the railway line.

Dublin Bus are honouring rail tickets.

UPDATE: 9pm

A gorse fire at Bray Head in county Wicklow is under control.

Emergency services were called to the scene earlier this evening.

Separately, five units of the fire service were called to deal with a blaze at a building in Bray.

Visibility remains poor in the area and motorists are been advised that Castle Street remains closed to traffic.
