Financial services company announce 200 new jobs
Fidelity is to add 200 new positions at its offices in Dublin and Galway.
The financial services company - which already employs 500 people here - is looking for a mix of professionals in technology, back office operations and enterprise services.
The initiative, which will see a major investment by the firm, is supported by the IDA.
Last year, Fidelity hired 250 people after an initial recruitment drive for 100 staff.
Travis Carpico is chief executive of Fidelity Investments Ireland and says this arm of its operations is highly valuable to the company: “We’ve been here so long.
“We’ve been here through multiple economic cycles, boom and bust and back again. We’re here for the long haul and investing in people’s careers.
“It’s a great operating location and the Irish staff is critical to our global finance services operations.”
