Fianna Fáil will call for an independent inquiry into the sale of Siteserv by IBRC in the Dáil later.
The party is going to table a motion on that deal, as well as others completed by the former Anglo Irish Bank.
The party's public expenditure spokesman Deputy Sean Fleming has challenged the appointment of KPMG to review IBRC transactions, and the appointment of a retired High Court judge to oversee any potential conflict of interest that could arise.
Deputy Fleming said Finance Minister Michael Noonan directed the judge be appointed, and that task was also completed by KPMG.
"We now have the person doing the inquiry into themselves appointing the person overseeing the inquiry by KPMG," he said. "Yes, the Minister approves that appointment, but the appointm3ent was by KPMG."
