Fine Gael deputy John Perry has confirmed this evening that he has reached an agreement with Danske Bank.

FG TD John Perry reaches deal over €2.4m bank debt

Fine Gael deputy John Perry has confirmed this evening that he has reached an agreement with Danske Bank.

The Junior Minister had been given until today to reach a deal with the bank or refinance his debts with another financial institution.

He owed €2.4m to the bank which seized control of assets and properties owned by the TD.

Details of the agreement between Mr. Perry and his wife and the Bank are confidential.

Mr Perry has confirmed that all his tax affairs have been and remain up to date.
