Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny is due to visit a number of centres providing help to Irish emigrants during a visit to London this weekend.
Mr Kenny is heading to the city today to take part in St Patrick's Day celebrations.
He will also be meeting Irish exhibitors at a Bord Bia food fair and will attend Lord Mayor Ken Livingstone's St Patrick's Festival ball tomorrow night.
Government ministers, meanwhile, have already begun their annual exodus to countries across the world to mark St Patrick's Day.
The Taoiseach and his cabinet colleagues have been forced again this week to defend the costly trips, which they say are a hugely valuable opportunity to promote Ireland abroad and attract inward investment.
The exodus marks the start of a three-week Dáil break for St Patrick's Day and Easter, with TDs not due back in Leinster House until April 2.
