Fianna Fáil is promising to establish a viable bio-energy industry in Ireland if is re-elected to power at the upcoming election.

Fianna Fáil is promising to establish a viable bio-energy industry in Ireland if is re-elected to power at the upcoming election.

The party also says it will provide supports for farmers and incentives for producers in order to develop such an industry.

Speaking at the launch of the Fianna Fáil policy document on agriculture today, Minister Mary Coughlan said innovation and research would be a key dimension for promoting the sector.
