Ferry service suspended after wildcat strike

Brittany Ferries have suspended their Cork to Roscoff service following a wildcat strike by French employees.

The company says it has suspended all its services between Britain, France, Ireland and Spain.

Brittany Ferries have cancelled their 6.30pm sailing from Roscoff in France to Cork this evening due to the action.

A replacement service from Cherbourg to Rosslare has been arranged and passengers are being advised to check with the ferry company's website for more information.
