Fans advised of counterfeit -ticket danger in Picnic run-up

Sports and music fans are being warned to be on the lookout for counterfeit tickets for some of the big music and sporting events coming up in the next few weeks.

Ticketmaster say they have had to turn away lots of music fans from recent shows because their tickets were not real.

The warning comes ahead of major events such as Electric Picnic next weekend.

Ticketmaster says it is working closely with the Gardaí to combat the problem of counterfeit tickets.
