Families could lose payments as holiday firm folds


Thousands of families may lose out on their pre-paid holidays after online booking agent Selfcatering.ie went out of business.

The company, which offered holidaymakers self-catered accommodation across Ireland, sent automated emails last night to say they have ceased trading.

The firm, based at Rosslare Harbour in Co Wexford, has been in operation for more than 14 years.

It is understood that Selfcatering.ie has taken payment for future holidays, and these bookings may not now be honoured.
