Cabinet discussing Budget cuts

The Cabinet is holding a special meeting on the Budget as ministers finalise plans for €4bn in cuts.
Finance Minister Brian Lenihan is expected to cut some social welfare payments, including changes to child benefits.
Public Sector unions are holding a one-day strike on Tuesday against planned cuts to pay and services.
The action will affect schools, hospitals and other public services.
Meanwhile, SIPTU, IMPACT and the TEEU have called off their strike action planned for next Tuesday in Cork, Galway and Clare - the three counties worst hit by the recent flooding.
The action against proposed cuts will now take place on another date in the future in these three counties.
