Woman dies in Carlow car accident

A woman in her late 20's has been killed in a road crash in Co Carlow.

She was driving a car which crashed into a jeep near the White Mills Pub at Kilbride in Ballon at around 8am this morning.

The man driving the jeep was uninjured.

The road was closed for a time but has since reopened.
