Pedestrian dies after being hit by two cars
29/11/2009 - 14:25:34A pedestrian was killed today when he was hit by two cars as he crossed a road.
The 24-year-old man died at the scene of the accident, on Clanbrassil Street in Dublin’s south inner city.
It is understood the victim was on a night out when he was knocked down at around 4.20am.
As he lay injured on the road was struck by a second car.
His body has been removed to the city morgue where a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
Investigating officers have appealed for witnesses the accident or anyone with information to contact Kevin Street Garda Station.
A number of roads in the area which were closed for examination have reopened to traffic.
