Gardaí seize €250k of cannabis

Drugs worth more than a €250,000 have been seized in Kildare.

Cannabis herb, worth around €180,000, was recovered when a car was stopped on the Naas Road near Rathcoole last night.

A man in his late 30's was arrested at scene and is being detained at Clondalkin garda station.

In a follow-up search in County Louth, further cannabis herb, with an estimated street value of €72,000 was seized in Drogheda.
