HSE urging workers to halt work-to-rule action
05/03/2010 - 07:16:53The HSE is urging staff involved in a public service work-to-rule to comply with all requests to carry out their full duties.
Industrial action has been underway for several weeks as unions make their point against pay cuts imposed in the Budget.
In a letter being sent to health sector staff, a senior HSE official is warning the campaign raises serious risk management issues, and says any industrial action causes distress to patients.
