FG seeks mandatory 25-year sentence for gangland murders

Fine Gael is seeking the introduction of a mandatory minimum life sentence of 25 years for gangland murders.

The party is tabling a motion in the Dáil today - demanding more resources for gardaí to help tackle gangland-related crimes and criminals.

The call comes after a recent spate of gangland murders, armed robberies and kidnappings.
