A town in Co Wexford is preparing for the worst tonight as heavy rain is expected to cause further flooding.
A yellow weather warning for rain will remain in place across the country until midnight.
Enniscorthy town council said it is well prepared for high tide at 11.30pm and it has put a number of measures in place, with extra sandbags available to members of the public.
Town Clerk David Minogue added a traffic management plan will come into effect should the River Slaney burst its banks tonight.
