English-language students prepare for protest

Students who have been left without a class after the closure of English-language school IBS will be demonstrating on the streets of Dublin today.

The High Court appointed a liquidator to the school on Tuesday, leaving foreign students out of pocket by as much as €3,000 and in limbo with their visas.

The concentration will be at 1:30pm at Garden of Remembrance, Parnell Square East and is scheduled to reach the GPO on O’Connell Street at 3pm.
