Engineer to appeal High Court ruling over government's alleged 'Yes' vote promotion


The Supreme Court is to hear an urgent challenge to the Children's Referendum on Tuesday.

Mark McCrystal, an engineer from Kilbarrack, Dublin, lost his action in the High Court in which he claimed the government is using €1.1m of public money to allegedly promote a 'Yes' vote on November 10.

President Nicholas Kearns has found the campaign neutral, balanced and with the primary aim of informing the public.

Mr McCrystal is appealing the ruling.
