People are being urged to check if they are eligible to vote in the upcoming UK Brexit referendum.

People are being urged to check if they are eligible to vote in the upcoming UK Brexit referendum.

Irish people born in Britain may be eligible to vote on June 23rd.

The deadline for registering is midnight tonight.

Noelle O'Connell, from the European Movement Ireland, says whatever way people want to vote they should at least register.

"This decision is certainly crucial.

"European Movement Ireland is urging all eligible Irish voters in the UK and the British people living here in Ireland to register online to vote by midnight tonight.

"No matter how people decide to vote it is crucial that they have their say on the 23rd."
