A woman in her 70's has been seriously injured after being struck by a car in the Crumlin area of Dublin.

A woman in her 70's has been seriously injured after being struck by a car in the Crumlin area of Dublin.

The incident happened on Sundrive Rd beside Sundrive Park at 7.15am this morning.

She's been taken to St James' hospital where she is in a serious condition.

The driver of the car was uninjured.

Gardai are appealling for witnesses to contact them.
