Elderly man stabbed to death in Ballymena
Police outside the house where the man was stabbed to death.
The PSNI have launched a murder investigation after a 64-year-old man was stabbed to death in Co Antrim.
He was found in the Carnvale area of Ballymena during the early hours of this morning.
A 59-year-old woman has been taken to hospital with serious stab wounds.
A spokesman for the PSNI said a man aged 26 had been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
“He is currently in custody assisting police with their inquiries,” he said.
The investigation is ongoing.
