Elderly man killed in Offaly crash
A man in his 70s has been killed in a crash in Co Offaly.
He died after the vehicle he was driving collided with the kerbside and a bus on Arden Road in Tullamore at around 1pm today.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his remains were brought to the Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore where a post mortem is to be carried out.
There were no passengers on the bus and no other injuries have been reported.
The road is currently closed to facilitate an investigation.
Diversions are in place.
