Duo charged with violent disorder as man left on life support

A court has heard a 20-year-old Dublin man is on life support after he was attacked in the early hours of New Year’s Day.

A court has heard a 20-year-old Dublin man is on life support after he was attacked in the early hours of New Year’s Day.

23-year-old Graham Palmer of Bolbrook Grove, Tallaght and 20-year-old Aisling Burke of Homelawn Road have been charged with violent disorder.

Gardaí told Dublin District Court that more serious charges may follow.

The attack happened at Saint Dominic’s Road, Tallaght at around 2am.

Judge Michael Walsh has set bail terms and the two accused will return to court this afternoon.
