Duo appear in court in connection with knife-point robbery in Cork

Two men have appeared in court in connection with an armed robbery at a service station in Cork city on Thursday night.

Two men have appeared in court in connection with an armed robbery at a service station in Cork city on Thursday night.

Conor O'Connor, aged 33, and 26-year-old Eoin O'Sullivan were both brought before a special sitting of Cork District Court this morning.

Both men were charged with robbery at the Topaz Service Station on Leitrim Street.

O'Connor was granted bail but the judge refused bail for O'Sullivan and remanded him in custody to appear in court again on Tuesday.

He also ordered that O'Sullivan receive appropriate medical attention while in custody.
