A group of Dunnes Stores workers will deliver a giant Christmas card to the company's head office later with a message on improving working conditions.
The card will be signed by a significant proportion of staff members calling on the company to provide them with secure hours and fair pay.
Mandate trade union will also release results of a worker survey addressing the issues in the dispute.
Preliminary results indicated:
- 98% of workers want more stable hours;
- 85% say insecurity over hours and rostering is used as a method of control over workers.
- 88% say that they are not treated with dignity and respect at work.
- 98% say they want Dunnes to respect their right to trade Union representation.

Assistant general secretary of Mandate Gerry Light said management was refusing to engage with the workers.
"Contrary to a Labour Court recommendation which urged them to come to the negotiating table to talk about issues of grievance and concern to our members, the company refuses that reasonable aproach," he said.
"We're running out of options here to try to get the company to come to the negotiating table and to deal with us in a reasonable fashion…before we start seriously considering other options up to and including industrial action."
