A new integrated transport ticket for Dublin commuters is to be introduced within weeks, it was announced today.

The 'Leap' card will see ticketing for Dublin Bus, DART, Luas and commuter rail all rolled into one.

Signage of card labels on machines across the city beings today, with a final phase of customer testing to proceed.

Public Transport Minister Alan Kelly said that it is a positive development for commuters.

The National Transport Authority is now calling for 500 customers to assist in the final testing of the new system.
