Craig O'Halloran of Colepark Road, Ballyfermot is accused of murdering the 32-year-old electrician on July 31, 2011.

The court was told the 19-year-old made no comment when the murder charge was put to him at Ballyfermot Garda Station last night.

Sgt Denis Smith gave evidence Craig O'Halloran was arrested at his home at 10.45pm.

He appeared before Judge Victor Blake who granted him legal aid and remanded him in custody to appear at Cloverhill District Court on Friday.
