The survey, which lists Ireland's top 400 secondary schools puts a Co. Limerick boarding school, Glenstal Abbey, second in the list followed by the Teresian School in Donnybrook in Dublin 4.

Six of the top 10 schools in Ireland are fee-paying - the other four are Irish-speaking.
