Dublin City Council has announced that the city of Dublin will open a Book of Condolences for the victims of the Malaysian Airlines tragedy.
The public will be able to sign the book at City Hall, Dame St., from noon until 5pm today.
The book will also be available to sign from 9.30am until 5pm tomorrow and Wednesday.
The Lord Mayor Christy Burke said: "I have opened a Book of Condolences to allow the public to express their feelings for the victims of this tragedy and to commiserate with their families.
"The loss of each life is itself an immeasurable loss in the lives of relatives and friends of the victims. I will present the Book of Condolences to the Dutch ambassador to Ireland on behalf of the City of Dublin."
One of the victims, Edel Mahady, was originally from Palmerstown and had been visiting Ireland before the tragedy.
