Dublin city councillor arrested in Greyhound protests

A Dublin city councillor has been arrested as part of a protest against Greyhound, a waste disposal company, in Coolock this morning.

The demonstration was in support of workers who are locked in a row with the company over pay cuts.

Anti Austerity Alliance Councillor Michael O'Brien was arrested on the Greencastle Road as protestors blocked a Greyhound bin truck into an estate.
