The Greyhound Waste Management Company has said its customers in Dublin can now pay their €100 'Annual Service Charge' in two instalments.
The company had been criticised for demanding that the fee be paid up front and in full this month.
However, after consulting with Dublin City Council, Greyhound has agreed to allow customers to pay €50 now and the remainder by July if they sign up for 'Automatic Top-Up' before February 15.
Labour Councillors in Dublin were due to meet with the City Manager today, in an attempt to find a resolution to a dispute over bin collections in the city.
